COVID-19 UPDATE

As it always has been, the health and welfare of our homeowners and our team is our top priority.  While we are taking precautionary measures to limit the interaction we have with the general public, everyone needs heat, hot water, and clear drains in their homes.  For this reason, we are still open for business, especially for emergency after hours services.  Here’s what Nicholson is doing to keep everyone in our family safe:

-If our staff or anyone in their household is feeling sick, they will stay home.

-New pairs of disposable gloves and clean protective shoe covers are worn in every home.

-Our trucks are equipped with disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer which are used between every call.

-Our office was deep cleaned over the course of the past weekend, and our staff has been provided with disinfecting wipes and spray to maintain “high touch” areas.

Our business is all about making you comfortable.  While this typically focuses on heating, cooling, and plumbing, we are taking extra measures to calm the anxiety that we are all feeling.  Our technicians are more than happy to wash their hands in front of you, or wear protective face masks, if it will make you feel more at ease.

More than anything, we want everyone to know that Nicholson is standing right beside you to make sure you have everything you need to stay safe.  We are all in this together.

  • Nicholson offered what is possibly the best customer service I have dealt with in a home repair situation.  I called them because I was looking to replace my very old furnace.  They came out to do an initial estimate, and then came back when I had some further questions about my options.  After installing the furnace, they ran into some problems with my air ducts.  This happened on a Friday, and the problem was fixed by Monday afternoon.  In addition to their excellent service, they did quality work at a fair price.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for an HVAC company in the Framingham area!

  • Recently used these guys because my HVAC unit AC wasn’t working (first hot day of summer).  Showed up on time, wore booties, fixed the unit.  During the visit we talked about how my unit was having problems in the winter – which was resulting in NSTAR service calls of maybe 3-4 times per season (I am on a service plan with them).   He was the first guy to tell me WHY the problem was happening, and HOW to fix it.  I find it strange that all of the NSTAR guys etc. no one took time to point out how to fix the source of the problem…Very professional, smart.  I would use them again, and plan to for the fix on my heating unit!
